Aquatics

High School Natatorium

Central York Panthers compete in PIAA swimming, diving and water polo.  

Our Physical Education program includes swimming and water safety units in 2nd and 4th grade, as well as stroke development and recreational aquatics in 9th and 10th grade.

Our community programs include swimming lessons, lap swimming, water fitness classes and lifeguard training for both residents and non-residents.

Membership is required for all Community Aquatic Programs including recreational swims.

The Central York Natatorium is located at the Central York High School. The 18,100 square foot facility was built in 2008. It has 8 lanes for 40 yards with an adjustable bulkhead, 2 1-meter diving boards, a 500-seat spectator area, and adjoining locker room facilities. 

Community Aquatics Programs

Central York School District is happy to hold several Community Aquatic Programs, including swimming lessons, lap swim and fitness, and recreational swim. 

Membership is required to participate in these programs, including recreational swim. Fees are charged to cover costs associated with pool maintenance and session staffing. All participants are required to pay the annual fee one time during the membership period.  Membership is valid from September 1, 2024, through August 31, 2025. Fees are nonrefundable. 

Individual: $10/Resident; $25/Non-Resident
Family: $25/Resident; $50/Non-Resident
