More than 40 Honored at Spirit of Youth Awards

The Awards recognize youth and adults making a positive difference in the Central York Community.

Central York Communities that Care recently hosted their annual Spirit of Youth Awards, recognizing the difference-making youth and adults in our Panther community!

Mr. Matt Dorgan, President and Founder of Building Bridges For Brianna, spoke to the crowd about the importance of community and helping one and other. Building Bridges for Brianna, headquartered here in York County, provides resources, assistance, and support in the promotion of suicide awareness and prevention programs.

The morning included remarks from several of our local government officials including Pennsylvania State Senator Kristin Phillips-Hill, Pennsylvania Representative Carol Hill-Evans, and Mark Swomley, the Springettsbury Township Chairman.

Guests enjoyed singing performances by CYHS Students Olivia Williams and Finch Milsten, as well as music from Inspire, a local student music group.

Congratulations to more than forty Central York students and community members that were recognized for the impact they make.
