This weekend, several CYMS students competed in regional Mathcounts competition.
10 CYMS students competed in the 39th annual York/Lancaster Chapter MathCounts competition held at Millersville University on February 25, 2023. They competed against 18 other schools with a total of 115 competitors. During the competition, students participated in the Sprint Round, Target Round, Team Round and countdown round.
Individual results: Andrew Lloyd 12th, Alexis McChalicher 9th, Jason Brick 6th and Sachin Banjara 2nd.
The team of Jason Brick, Sachin Banjara, Jheel Bhonde and Andrew Lloyd took 1st place. The team of four will continue on to participate in the state competition held in Harrisburg, PA on March 18, 2023.
