Sixteen Central York Middle School students competed in the 25th annual York County MATHCOUNTS competition held at Central York Middle School on January 14, 2023.  They competed against seven other York County Schools and there were a total of 96 competitors.  During the competition, students participated in the Sprint Round, Target Round, Team Round and countdown round.

The team of Jason Brick, Thomas Deardorff, Alexis McChalicher and Andrew Lloyd took second place. The individual results were: Andrew Lloyd was 5th and Jason Brick was 2nd overall.  After the head to head countdown round Andrew moved up to third place and Jason Brick took 2nd. Way to go MATHCOUNTS!  It's a great day to be a PANTHER!
