The lives of CYMS Counselors

 

Mr. Glusco is married to his wife, Amy. He is the proud father of 3 sons, Joe, Weston, and AJ. When he is not chasing around his boys, Mr. Glusco enjoys playing hockey and he is an avid hockey and football fan but enjoys all sports. He enjoys reading non-fiction literature including biographies of famous Americans, sports figures, and legal dramas.  In addition, Mr. Glusco is an outdoors man who loves spending time at the pool and the beach. His solution-focused counseling approach emphasizes self awareness, emotional expression, and positive action. He has also obtained his administrative certification.  He has resumed his role as an Assistant Football Coach for the Central York Middle School Football Team.

 

Mrs. Rossi is happily married to David for the past 15 years. She is Mother to 11-year-old, Blaze, (attending North Hills Elementary School) and 7-year-old, Brock (attending StonyBrook Elementary School). Mrs. Rossi is an avid runner, including 15 marathons. She has qualified for the Boston Marathon 4x, and has run it once (April 2009). Mrs. Rossi is a member of the York Road Runners Club, and continues to provide Beginner Running Programs for adults in the School District. She is also very active in her church. Aside from running, Mrs. Rossi enjoys writing and reading. She embraces journaling as a therapeutic means for herself and her students. Mrs. Rossi has a Specialized Certification in Adlerian Counseling and focuses on building courage, making connections, increasing student capabilities, and assisting ALL students in celebrating that they count.
