Schoology- CYHS GT 9th

GT will use Schoology in the Gifted Support room to post blog updates onprogress toward GIEP annual goals, to record attendance in the GT room ,and to communicate events and information relevant to gifted services. Schoology is learning management tool that is being used by thedistrict as the mail learning management tool.   Click here for moreinformation: https://www.schoology.com/page/15668739   One of my favorite aspects of the tool is the parent access feature. Click here for more information:  https://www.schoology.com/resources/public/23798811/profile  We may experience some issues as we implement this new tool so pleaseprovide any feedback to help improve the use of Schoology. Many of yourchild’s teachers will have Schoology accounts and this one access codeshould allow you to see courses connected to your child. Access codeswere emailed to individual parent email addresses on 9/8/15.  Pleasecontact me if you did not receive your child's access code.

Marking Period 2 Updates:
Here are a few review and new items:

1.  I am at the high school on Fridays and Mrs. Guise (CYHS gifted support and 9th GT CLC) is there everyday.  Please contact either of us if you have questions or concerns about your child’s academic    progress.
2.  All GT students keep a record of their attendance and goal progress on Schoology.  Please let me know if you need me to resend your parent access code.
3.  All GT students will post evidence of progress toward individual GIEP goal(s) on Schoology by November 13th.
4.  CYHS conferences will take place this month.   I do not schedule individual conferences at this time since I met with parents during the first marking period.
