Reminders for the first week of school.
  • Practices will begin after school 9/8. Mon.-Thurs.  3-4:45.
  • If you child is remote you may drop them off/pick up at these times.
  • The activity bus will be leaving at 5:15 from the front of the school.
  • Pickups can be done in the back behind the cafeteria outside.
  • The locker rooms will be open to change.
  • You may leave your bags in the locker room or outside.
  • *** Please do not bring valuables***
  • Bring a water bottle and/or small snack with their change of clothes,mask, and shoes.
  • Please remind your runner to meet me in the back outside the cafeteria and use the picnic table area to sit after changing
  • Transportation forms are necessary if driving your child to/from for each meet and are under the useful links tab on this website.

Spectators will be allowed at XC meets.
Masks should be worn before and after practice.

No parents should be at workouts.
Make sure to bring your own water bottle.
REMINDER: Hydrate all day!! It makes a difference!!!

If a runner is sick, they should contact Coach McKinley before practice. 

  •  Runners MUST stay at the meet until the final results are announced to the team before being dismissed. We will ride the bus to the away meets together.
  • Runners can either ride the bus back to the middle school or fill out the proper form to be taken home by a parent.
  • The form must be filled out and given to Coach McKinley Prior to getting on the bus.
  •  Each course is different and can be anywhere from 1.8 miles to 2.2 miles. (the only way to compare times is when you run the same course)
  • XC Scoring ‚óŹ Lowest score wins!


Players will be asked the following questions:

1. Do you have a temperature?

2. Do you have any symptoms of COVID 19?

3. Have you been around anyone in the past 48 hours who has symptoms or has COVID 19?

Please see the website below for physicals. They are also being done by appointment at OSS. Print sections 5&6 of sports ware to take to physicals!
