 If you know anyone who wants to join, have them see me this week or email me and I will have them added.  We will EVENTUALLY meet ONLY ON DAYS 4 and 5 but that will start after the first week of school.  You guys know the drill - always listen to the announcements and you will be good to go :)  On another note, as excited as I am to get back into a team with you, I will be less tolerant of any negativity I come across.  I do not expect any issues but if I see someone not being a team player, or hear that you are not being an upstanding CYMS student, you will removed from our team.  So let's start the year off right and SING our hearts out!

ALL choral paperwork is due signed for a grade after Sept 14 - please get this in for a grade.  All paperwork is now uploaded in the IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS tab.

  The choral handbook that you will receive at our first meeting is available on the IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS tab.  The last page must be returned to Miss Perko signed by September 14 for a grade.

ALL PAPERWORK IS DUE SEPT 13 FOR YOUR FIRST GRADE - PLEASE GET IT IN TO MISS PERKO!!!!

If you have a zero in the grade-book (for a missed rehearsal) and come to a sectional and are productive, I will change it.

You can ALWAYS find the current schedule on the monitors at school!  Make sure to watch in case of any changes.

Grades have started - be in place on time (2:05).  If you are not working with the team, you will be removed from the team!  Please don't let this be you!  We need all voices.  Also if you have not had your evaluation or handed in your signed course syllabus you must see me this week.  If I do not have your course syllabus, you can find your name on the chorus room board and points will start to be deducted from your daily grade.  Please turn them in if you owe me one.

Welcome to your last year in the CYMS choral program!

I am excited to see you all again and start working with our choral team.  Most of you I have already had the pleasure of working with, last year...and if you have any friends that want to join this year, send them my way!

Please stay tuned to announcements during the first week to make sure that you meet with me 9th period on the correct days - we have a lot to do!

For our first week of school, please follow your schedule for chorus.  However we will tentatively meet on days 4 & 5 during the course of our year together. 

Also, please click on the CYMS Choral Handbook to read my full expectations for our choral program.  You will receive a condensed version of the handbook during our first week, to have signed by a parent/guardian.

Chorus is a CURRICULAR ACADEMIC SUBJECT that meets during the school day, and as you know, you WILL receive a grade!  So be ready to sing and be a team player.  -Miss Perko
