The annual Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) is a standards based criterion-referenced assessment used to measure a student's attainment of the academic standards while also determining the degree to which school programs enable students to attain proficiency of the standards. PSSA tests will be administered to 7th and 8th graded students at Central York School District on the dates listed below. The information obtained from these assessments serves as a valuable tool for planning future school programs, developing curriculum and in-service training of teachers, and informing the public about student achievement.
